On and Off the Field

On and Off the Field

When your dog joins our team, he will receive the All-Star treatment both on and off the field.

On The Field

We strive to help the team maintain good sportsmanship by expecting appropriate behavior on our playfields. We use positive correction techniques to address and eliminate inappropriate behavior, such as barking, jumping, and so on.

Paws Field provides:

  • All-day play (naps provided after meals and on request)
  • Indoor and outdoor play fields*
  • Constant supervision and interaction with our trained coaching staff
  • Staff coaches on the field to monitor play at all times
  • Separate ballparks for small and large dogs
  • Live, secure web cameras so you can always be in the front row for all the action
  • Plenty of fun and safe toys for everyone to share
  • Summertime wading pools
  • Optional concession stand snacks/meals
  • Post-game showers and nail trims available upon request

It’s always great to be a part of the team, but even the best have to make the cut. Call today to schedule your dog’s tryout.

Off the Field

Team members start the day with a warm-up on the field before a leisurely breakfast in a private club suite. After breakfast, everyone enjoys a full morning of play before returning to their suite for the midday 7th inning stretch so they can relax and get ready for more game time excitement. When everyone is rested, it's back to the field for more fun until dinner. Our overnight guests enjoy a quiet dinner in their suite before hitting the field one last time. Once the games are over, it’s time to head to the clubhouse to rest up for the next big game. Each teammate gets a clean, comfortable club suite. Our batboys do the unpacking for them and set up all their things (beds, blankets, toys, snacks, etc.) in order to provide a calm and peaceful environment, complete with soothing music.

The Paws Field staff encourages clients to bring whatever makes their dogs feel comfortable, including favorite beds, blankets, toys, treats, and other personal items. If this is the first stay and/or the dog experiences stress when away from the family, a shirt or towel with a familiar scent can help the dog relax in the suite.

Paws Field staff offers:

  • Free laundry service: We laundry bedding as needed and provide bedding while personal belongings are being cleaned.
  • Medication: We administer most medications at no additional cost, but we do require that they are provided in the original/prescription container (even vitamins and supplements).
  • Attention to special dietary needs: While we don't have a team chef to cook and chop, we strive to keep each dog's meals consistent with his home routine. Whatever you provide at home, we’ll provide the same. Switching a dog's food, especially for boarding, can really mess up one's game!
