Current Foster Dog

Makayla (Heeler mix 5 yrs) - I am such a sweet girl that just needs a great home. I used to be very shy and under confident, but my friends at Paws Field have spent a lot of time building my self esteem. I’m much more confident now and am willing to try new things. Once I get to know you, I am very trusting and loving, and the people here tell me I give the best kisses! I really LOVE to play ball (I’m the team catcher!), and I do great around other dogs, especially the small ones!

I absolutely love treats but have managed to stay fit with all the exercise I get here. There is a path nearby and I love to go walking and exploring there. The people here always tell me how tidy I keep my room too and how smart I am because I know my basic commands. I can also shake hands and give you a “high five”…they really dig that here!
