Paws Field Community...Avon 2-Day Walk
Earlier this year, Dani and Lisa committed to walking in the Avon 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer in honor of Judy Colby. Many of you may know Judy from Santiago's Mexican Restaurant. Judy handled her battle with cancer like she handles everything in life, with a smile. Paws Field joins Judy in thanking the following businesses for donating to help find a cure for breast cancer.
On June 27th and 28th, Dani and Lisa completed 26.2 miles in our first Avon 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer, and we exceeded our fund raising goals! This was an amazing experience and one we won't forget! You joined with 1400 walkers to raise more than $2.6 million in the fight against breast cancer, and $1 million of that has already been allocated to organizations right here in Colorado! We are proud to have been a part of this incredible experience and we hope that all of you share that pride.
The 2009 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer is over, but you can still donate to this cause by visiting Dani's or Lisa's web pages. Someone is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes!
